Obituary

John A. Bonsignor passed away on April 19, 2016. He was 87 years old.

John was a lifelong resident of Malden. He was a United States Navy Veteran during WWII and an active member at Saint Joseph's Parish in Malden.

John was the devoted husband of 64 years to Dora (Smarrella) Bonsignor. He was the son of the late Pluto and Mary (Jeffrey) Bonsignor. John was the beloved father of Dorene Cox of Malden, Lisa Caraglia and her husband Nick of Melrose and Denise Amigo and her husband Alfred of Manchester, VT. He was the brother of the late Mary J. Bonsignor. John was the cherished grandfather of Robert J. Cox, Bryan Cox and his wife Meghan, Nicole Caraglia, Joseph Caraglia, AJ Amigo and John Amigo, and great grandfather of Emma Cox.

The Funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday April 23rd at 11:30a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Joseph's Church 770 Salem Street, Malden at 12:30p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday April 22nd from 4-8p.m. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.

In lieu of flowers donations in John's memory may be made to a Charity of one's choice.
