Obituary

Jean M. (Mercurio) Davis passed away on April 19, 2013. She was 75 years old.

Jean was a lifelong resident of Malden. She was a longtime manager of several furniture stores in Malden. Jean was an avid golf and Red Sox fan and loved to crochet. Jean liked to stay active after her retirement by reading on her Kindle and communicating on Facebook and Twitter with her friends and grandchildren.

Jean was the daughter of the late Francesco and Philomena (Ciccotelli) Mercurio. She was the beloved mother of Lisa Davis and Charles Davis both of Malden. Jean was the dear sister of Teresa Blandini and her husband Michael of Saugus, Frank Mercurio of FL and the late Frances Powell and Anthony Mercurio. She was the cherished grandmother of Charlie and Valerie Davis. Jean is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Tuesday, April 23rd at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main Street, Malden at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Monday, April 22nd from 4-8 p.m.

Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
