James W. Stanley of Peabody formerly of Malden, passed away on October 19, 2026. He was 70 years old.

James was the husband of the late Paulette M. (Martineau) Stanley. He was the beloved father of Mandi Lee Stanley, Jamie Marie Ruth Stanley and her husband Jay, Sheena Elizabeth Cooper and her husband Josh, and James W Stanley III. James was the cherished grandfather of Jay, London Jane, Joshua, Houston and Lincoln. 

A service will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday October 24th at 10:00am. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday October 23rd from 3:00pm-7:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
