Obituary

James A. Scott Sr., a longtime resident of Malden, passed away on October 1, 2021. He was 85 years old.

James was a United States Navy Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam Era. He was a past member of the VFW in Malden and worked for Boston University as an equipment manager for 22 years.

James was the husband of the late Mary E. (Andrews) Scott. He was the loving father of James A. Scott and his wife Annette and Emily H. Hendron all of Malden, and Deb O'Hara. James was the cherished grandfather of Sarah Jane Scott.

Visiting hours will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Thursday October 7th from 4-8pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment in Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne will be private.
