Obituary

James M. Pothier passed away on October 15, 2008. He was 61 years old.

Born and raised in Everett, James graduated from Everett High School and was a resident of Revere for 28 years. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force out of high school and was a Vietnam veteran. James was an avid fisherman. He worked for Fish Tales Charter Boat Co. for many years and retired from Verizon after 35 years of service.

James was the devoted husband of Helen (Esposito) Pothier and the loving son of Joseph Pothier and the late Dorothy Pothier. He was the beloved father of Cheryl Aguilar and her husband Alex of Revere, Keith Esposito and his wife Rachel of Florida and Jay Pothier and his companion Gina Tiro of Revere. James was the dear brother of Gerald Pothier, Frances Brodeaur and William Pothier. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Monday, October 20th at 9:45 a.m. followed by a Mass Of Christian Burial in St. Anthony Of Padua Church, 250 Revere Street, Revere at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Sunday, October 19th from 2-6 p.m. Entombment in Holy Cross (Chapel Hill) Mausoleum, Malden.
