Obituary

James M. "Jimmy" Keohan Sr. died suddenly at home in Malden on Monday Dec. 3, 2018. He was 54 years old. A lifelong resident Malden Jimmy graduated with the Malden High Class of 1982. For many years he worked for the Department of Welfare. He was an avid Boston sports fan and loved playing Bocce at the Citizens Club in Malden. Jimmy got the biggest enjoyment in life from his large family and countless friends.
He was the loving son of Carolyn (Barthelmes) Keohan of Malden and the late Ronald J. Keohan. Father of James M. Jr. and Tatiana Keohan both of FL and the dear brother of Donald MacMullin and his wife Ellen of Middleton, Catherine MacMullin and Diane Masiel both of Malden, R. Jean Barker and her husband Robert of Lynn, Ronald Keohan and his late wife Marie of Everett and the late David Keohan. Jimmy is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral will be held from the A.J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main St., Malden on Friday Dec. 7 at 10:30AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main St., Malden at 11AM. Visitation in the funeral home Friday morning from 9-10:30AM. Interment Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden
