Obituary

James M. Gordon passed away on March 10, 2012. He was 71 years old.

Born and raised in East Boston, James was a resident of Malden for over 30 years. He graduated from Bentley College and Northeastern University and worked for General Services Administration for the United States Government for many years. James was also an avid Patriots fan.

James was the son of the late Henry and Margaret (Corbett) Gordon. He was the loving brother of the late Carol Phillips. James was the beloved uncle of Donna Flaherty and her husband Bill of Milton and Susan Whitney and her husband Scott of Malden. He was the great uncle of Emma and Timothy Flaherty and Melissa, Scottie and Eric Whitney. He is also survived by his beloved parrot Charlie.

The Funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Wednesday, March 14th at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Tuesday, March 13th from 3-8 p.m. Interment will be private.
