Obituary

James J. Colarusso passed away on January 21, 2008. He was 72 years old.

Born in Boston, James grew up in East Boston and was a longtime resident of West Roxbury. He was a graduate of Boston University and Simmons School of Social Work. James had lived and worked in Arlington, VA since 1985. He worked for the Office of Child Support Enforcement in Washington, D.C. and retired in 2001.

James was the beloved husband of Mary (Dellasandro) Colarusso. He was the loving father of James Colarusso Jr. of Weymouth, Denise Colarusso of West Roxbury and the late Steven Colarusso. James was the dear brother of Robert Colarusso and Richard Colarusso. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The Funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday, January 26th at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 660 Washington Avenue, Revere at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Friday, January 25th from 4-8 p.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
