Irene Reardon passed away on February 27, 2026. She was 92 years old.

Daughter of the late John and Nancy Reardon. Irene is survived by her cousin Carol Bucknam and her family of NH, and her dear friends Linda Zaccheo of Everett and Patricia Sheets of Reading, and many old and new friends she made throughout her lifetime.

Irene worked for the United States Navy before attending Northeastern University to pursue a career in Teaching. She began her teaching career at Immaculate Conception School in Malden. She also taught in Saugus before joining the Everett Public Schools. She taught at the George G. Hamilton School (Keverian) until her retirement. She was devoted to her students. She was always willing to come in early or stay late to give students that extra push to help them succeed.

Teaching was her first love, but Irene also loved to travel. She traveled throughout the United States and Europe, taking numerous trips to Ireland and Scotland where she had many relatives. She sorely will be missed by all.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Irene’s life in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden on Saturday March 7th at 12:00pm. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
