Obituary

Helen M. (Waldron) Martino passed away on April 6, 2008. She was 76 years old.

Born in Everett, Helen was a longtime resident of Malden. She was an avid bingo player and loved playing bingo with her friends at the Glen Ridge Nursing Home. She also loved listening to music and doing arts and crafts.

Helen was the wife of the late Edward "Sonny" Martino. She was the beloved mother of Steven Martino and his wife Debra of Malden, Edward Martino of Dover, NH, Bobby Martino and his wife Carole of Malden, David Martino of Bradford, William Martino and his wife Linda of Maine, Linda Martino of Wakefield and Richard Martino of Lynn. Helen was the cherished grandmother of Steven, Christopher, Vinny, Nicole, Dennis, Sean, Julie and Alexis Martino, Dina Kenney and her husband John and the late Anthony Martino. She was the great-grandmother of Sophia, Johnnie, Dennis Jr, Alexis and Anthony. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and her extended family at the Glen Ridge Nursing Home.

A Funeral Service will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Friday, April 11th at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Thursday, April 10th from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be private.
