Obituary

Helen B. (O'Brien) Sullivan passed away on March 19, 2017. She was 88 years old.

Helen was born and raised in Medford and has been a resident of Malden for 57 years.

Helen was the devoted wife of the late Joseph V. Sullivan Jr. She was the beloved mother of Robert Sullivan and his wife Maryann, Joseph Sullivan III and his wife Pam, Jeffrey Sullivan and his wife Diane, James Sullivan, William Sullivan and his wife Loretta, Jean DiGiovanni and her husband Armando, Paul Sullivan and his wife Lisa, and Lynne Taipe and her husband Edison. Helen was the dear sister of the late Paul O'Brien and Ruth Wentzel. She was the cherished grandmother of Christine and Katherine Sullivan, Heather Shea, Kelly Feener, Sara and Casey Sullivan, James Sullivan Jr., William Sullivan Jr., Michael and Joseph Sullivan, Paul Sullivan Jr., Meaghan Sullivan, and Christian and Brandon Taipe. Great grandmother of Collin and Isabella Sullivan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Thursday March23rd at 9:00a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Hearts Church 297 Main Street, Malden at 10:00a.m.. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday March 22nd from 4-8p.m.

Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
