Obituary

Graham Jones passed away on December 26, 2007 at the Baldwinville Nursing Home. He was 89 years old.

Born in Rising Fawn, GA, Graham was raised in the West End of Boston and moved to Malden in 1951. He worked as an upholsterer for Barbo's in Melrose for 10 years and later at the Soldiers Home in Chelsea for 18 years before his retirement. He also served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.

Graham was married to the late Jenna (Corso) Jones. He was the beloved father of Tom Jones and his wife Joan of Groveland and Gail McDermott and her husband Bill of Westminster. He is predeceased by his 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Graham was the cherished grandfather of Karen Scalli, Danny Jones and Rich McDermott and the great-grandfather of 4 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The Funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday, December 29th at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church, 790 Salem Street, Malden at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Friday, December 28th from 4-8 p.m. Interment Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
