Obituary

Gloria (DeBerardinis) Martone passed away at the Glenridge Nursing Home on December 1, 2014. She was 93 years old.

Gloria was a longtime resident of Malden and Stoneham. She worked at the Jordan Marsh Company and the Boston Gas Company. Gloria was a longtime parishioner and choir member at St. Joseph's Church in Malden and later in life a parishioner at St. Patrick's Church in Stoneham.

Gloria was the devoted wife of the late Anthony Martone Sr. She was the beloved mother of Pat Martone and his wife Judi of Melrose, Anthony Martone Jr. and his wife Linda of Etters,PA, and the late Gene Louis Martone. Gloria was the cherished grandmother of Mark, Brad, and Kris Martone. She was the great grandmother of Rebecca, Erin, and Anthony Martone and Aaron Lamb. Gloria was 1 of 9 children.

The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Friday December 5th at 9:00a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church 770 Salem Street, Malden at 10:00a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Thursday December 4th from 4-8p.m. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

In lieu of flowers donations in Gloria's memory may be made to Alzheimer's Assoc. 480 Pleasant St. Watertown, MA 02472.

The family wishes to thank the caregivers at the Glenridge Nursing Home for the wonderful care and love they showed for Gloria for the past 2 ½ years.
