Obituary

Gloria M. (Brescia) Cafarella, a lifelong resident of Malden, passed away on March 21, 2016. She was 86 years old.

Gloria was the devoted wife of the late Rudolph "Rudy" Cafarella. She was the beloved mother of Tom Cafarella and his wife Ronna of Malden, Janice Crossen and her husband Kenneth of Peabody, David Cafarella and his wife Sonita of Billerica, and the late Robert Cafarella. Gloria was the dear sister of Lawrence Brescia, James Brescia, and Thomas Brescia. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church 600 Pleasant Street, Malden on Wednesday March 23rd at 10:00a.m. A visiting hour will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Wednesday from 8:30a.m.-9:30a.m. prior to the Mass. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
