Obituary

Giovanna (Archidiacono) Rago, of Malden passed away on October 20, 2021. She was 94 years old.

Giovanna was the wife of the late Giovanni Rago. She was the loving mother of Nick Rago and his wife Rose of Hampton, NH and Rosetta Lavino and her husband Mario of Wilmington. Giovanna was the cherished grandmother of Joseph Lavino, Rosanna Sciaraffa, Niki Rago, Lea Rago, Jana Rago, and the late Carmine Lavino. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Giovanna's life will be held at Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main Street, Malden on Tuesday October 26th at 10:00am. A visiting hour will be held in the church from 9:00am-10:00am prior to the Mass. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden.
