Obituary

Giordano "Rodego" passed away on April 9, 2014. He was 80 years old.

Rodego was born and raised in Italy and has been a resident of Malden since 1970. He worked for General Electric as a Stone Mason for over 25 years and was a resident of Ventura Counrty Club in Florida.

Rodego was the devoted husband of Mary (Huckins) Bonacorsi. He was the beloved father of Stephen Bonacorsi and his wife Genise of Newburyport and John Bonacorsi and his wife Ingrid of Melrose. Rodego was the dear brother of Adriano Bonacorsi of Italy. He was the cherished Nonno of Andre, Mia, Lilli, Ella and John Bonacorsi. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and cousins both here and in Italy.

The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street Malden on Tuesday April 15th at 8:00a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church 118 High Street Medford at 9:00a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Monday April 14th from 4-8p.m.

Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham.
