Obituary

Gertrude M. Doherty, of Malden, passed away on June 3, 2019. She was 81 years old.

Gertrude was the daughter of the late Owen F. and Evelyn A. (Jordan) Doherty. She was the dear sister of Marilyn I. McQuaid and her late husband Richard F., and the late Evelyn V. Doherty. Gertrude was the loving aunt of Elizabeth "Betty" D'Angelo, Chris McQuaid, Neil McQuaid, Richard McQuaid, Barbara Fitzgerald, and Mary Mastascusa. She was the cousin of Elaine Moriarty and James Jordan.

A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Gertrude's life will be held in Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main Street, Malden on Friday June 7th at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visitation will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Friday from 8:30am-9:30am prior to the Mass.

Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
