Gerard Montrose, a master cabinet maker defined by his unwavering discipline and artistry, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026, at the age of 90.

 Born on May 9, 1936, Gerard spent nine decades building a legacy of integrity, hard work, and profound dedication to his family and craft. He proudly brought his precise woodworking skills to New York, where he helped build world-class Steinway pianos.

He is survived by his three devoted sons, who carry forward his strength of character and disciplined principles. His memory will live on through the family he loved and the timeless pieces he created.

Visiting hours will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday August 1st from 4:00pm-7:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Entombment will be in Forest lawn Memorial Gardens South, Fort Lauderdale, FL.

In lieu of flowers contributions in Gerard's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
