Obituary

George E. Harmon Jr. of Melrose, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on April 20, 2022. He was 85 years old.

George was the beloved husband of 58 years to the late Elizabeth A. (Belmont) Harmon. He was the loving father of Linda Murphy of Lynnfield and her late husband Richard and the late Susan Harmon and Philip Harmon. George was the brother of Paul Harmon and the late Robert Harmon and Shirley DiGiammarino. He was the cherished grandfather of Tyler R. Murphy and the late Kristen Harmon and great grandfather of Haley Harmon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Monday April 25th at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Mary's Church, Herbert Street, Melrose at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5pm.

Interment will be in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
