Layne, G. Gary "Uncle Sonny"- of Quincy formerly of Malden Jan. 4, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Patti Layne. Dear brother of Barbara Fraughton of Melrose,Edgar R. Bamford Jr. of Weymouth, Carole Tamagna and Keith Bamford both of Malden and the late June Bamford. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held in the AJ Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main St., Malden on Friday Jan. 10th at 11AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4-8PM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers donations in Gary's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, 01701.
