Obituary

Frederick A. Guarino, 89, of Chelsea, loving father, and grandfather of 10, passed peacefully on Friday February 8th, 8:25pm into the arms of the Lord, at his home in Malden Massachusetts surrounded by family and those he loved.

He is survived by his siblings Dorothy, Jackie, and Sandy, and his children, Freddy Guarino Jr, Lisa Goyette and her husband Raymond, Jason Guarino and his wife Tina, Joshua Greenstein and his wife Ally, Anthony DeMarco, Matthew DeMarco, and the late Billy Guarino. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Freddy, a United States Navy Veteran, was stationed on the USS Yellowstone during WWII, and went on to become a contractor and recognized entertainer for his talents as a Tenor. He is remembered as a loving father, actor, and singer, who loved simple pleasures of singing and shooting pool, and eating home cooked meals with his family. We will carry the memory of his music and life in our hearts, forever.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Fred's life in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden on Friday February 15th at 10:00am. Interment of ashes will be held at a later date.
