Obituary

Frank Paul Magistro (Frankie), 83, a long-time resident of Malden, died in his home surrounded by his loving family on December 19th. Frank was born in New York, NY, and eventually settled in Malden. He enrolled in the Army, serving during WWII. He married Anna E. (Fimiani), his loving wife of 58 years and managed several grocery stores before his retirement. In addition to his beloved wife, he leaves behind his son, Salvatore P. Magistro and his wife Betty, Carmella DiPietro and her husband Pat, Patrick Magistro and his wife Tricia, Annette Cafarella and her husband Michael and Grace McConaghy and her husband Michael Sr. He was the dear brother of Fred and Sal Magistro, Irene Giglio and Josephine Giacobbe. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and loving, caring friends. The Funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Wednesday, December 27th at 8:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 9:00 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are on Tuesday, December 26th from 4-8 pm. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Late U.S. Army Veteran during WWII.
