Obituary

Frank L. DiRienzo passed away on July 11, 2011. He was 91 years old.

Born in Malden, Frank was a lifelong resident of the city. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during World War II.

Frank was the devoted husband of the late Rita (Gallant) DiRienzo, his wife of 65 years. He was the beloved father of Michael DiRienzo and his wife Diane of Woburn, Frank DiRienzo and his wife Carol of Connecticut and Brenda Trembley of Vermont. Frank was the dear brother of the late Beatrice Magliozzi, Antoniette Zenga and Angelo DiRienzo and the cherished grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Thursday, July 14th at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Wednesday, July 13th from 6-8 p.m. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden.
