Obituary

Frances E. (Spitzbarth) Tomasello passed away peacefully on November 16, 2018, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 93 years old.

Frances was born and raised in New York. She married on her 20th birthday and has been a resident of the Edgeworth section of Malden ever since. Frances worked for many years as a cashier for Kappy's Liquors.

Frances was the beloved wife of the late Peter F. Tomasello. She was the loving mother of Barbara McGlinchy of Malden, Jean Condon and her husband Paul of Malden, Rose Tomasello of Rockland and her 2 adopted nephews, Robert J. Santo of Melrose and his late wife Marjorie and Bernard J. Santo of Beverly. Frances was the cherished grandmother of Stacey Watkins, Paul Condon Jr. and his wife Tricia, and Kevin McGlinchy, and great grandmother of Courtney Watkins, Danni Watkins, Patrick Condon and James Condon. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Tuesday November 20th at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8pm. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
