Obituary

Fabius J. Chery, born in Haiti and a longtime resident of Medford, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2016. He was 96 years old.

Fabius was the beloved husband of the late Cloraine (Allien) Chery. He was the loving father of Ernst Chery and his wife Yolande, Raymond Chery and his wife Yvelle, Max Chery, Evelyne Chery-Hilliard, Marjorie Gedeon and her husband Shaffner, Margarette Chery, Frantz Chery and his wife Sharry, Mirlande Bond and her husband Jesse, and Cherese Chery. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at the Philadelphie SDA Church 575 Main Street, Malden on Monday August 15th at 10:30 a.m. A visiting hour will be held at the church from 9:30a.m.-10:30a.m. prior to the service. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Sunday August 14th from 4-8p.m.

Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
