Obituary

Evelyn M. (Zuretti) Colangeli passed away peacefully on January 31, 2017. She was 95 years old.

Evelyn grew up in Everett and was a longtime resident of Malden. She was a cafeteria worker for the Malden Public Schools for many years.

Evelyn was the devoted wife of the late George Colangeli. She was the beloved mother of George Colangeli Jr. of North Andover and Patricia Hughes and her husband Thomas of West Yarmouth. Evelyn was the sister of the late Gilbert Zuretti. She was the cherished grandmother of Kelly and Madeline Hughes. Evelyn was the dear aunt of Ed DeAvilla, Jack Colangeli, Susan Caron, and Janet O'Connor.

A funeral service will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Monday February 6th at 11:00a.m. A visiting hour will be held from 10:00a.m.-11:00a.m. prior to the service. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
