Obituary

Esther B. (Rideout) Colotti passed away on July 1, 2009. She was 91 years old.

Born in Canada, Esther grew up in Somerville and was a longtime resident of Everett. She was an avid Bingo player and loved to play the lottery. She also enjoyed many activities at the Bear Hill Nursing Home.

Esther was the devoted wife of the late Carmen Colotti. She was the beloved mother of Charles Cefalo of Everett and his late wife Emily, Bobby Cefalo, Debra Gray Silvestri and her husband Richard of Peabody, Carmen Colotti and his wife Maria of Stoneham and the late Arthur Cefalo and Janice Russo. She was the dear sister of Ruth and Hazel and was also predeceased by 5 sisters and 4 brothers. Esther was the cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren: Michelle Johnson, Debra Sullivan, Carmen and Michael Colotti, Trina Gray-Piexoto, Dina Gray, Robin, Michael, Joseph, Vincent and Sherry Cefalo, Lori Gordon and Lisa and Lynda Russo. She was also blessed with 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Esther is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Monday, July 6th at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Sunday, July 5th from 3-7 p.m. Interment Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
