Obituary

Elizabeth G. (Champi) Cataldo passed away on August 22, 2008. She was 93 years old.

Born in Boston, Elizabeth grew up in Everett and was a longtime resident of Malden and Beverly. She worked as a seamstress for Fran's Bridal in Beverly for many years.

Elizabeth was the devoted wife of the late Angelo Cataldo and Joseph DeCola. She was the beloved mother of Barbara Choate of Beverly and her late husband Robert, Delores DiPietro and her husband Joseph of Malden, Mary Mason and her husband Fred of Pittsfield and Joseph N. DeCola of Tucson, AZ. Elizabeth was the dear sister of mary Annese of Georgia and the cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden on Saturday, August 30th at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visitation will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. prior to the Mass. Interment Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
