Obituary

Elizabeth A. "Betty" Dam passed away suddenly on February 22, 2011. She was 67 years old.

Born in Chelsea, Betty was a life long resident of Malden prior to moving to Saugus a few years ago. She was the owner of DAB Business Services for more than 25 years. Dedicated to the community of Malden, Betty was a proud member of the Malden Chamber of Commerce, the Malden Kiwanis and the YWCA Malden, serving on the Board of Directors of all 3 for many years.

Betty was the devoted sister of John T. Dam and the late William Dam and Judith L. Connors. She was the beloved aunt of 6 nieces, 2 nephews and the great-aunt of 6 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew. Betty was the daughter of the late William and Sadie (LeGrow) Dam and is also survived my numerous friends.

A funeral service will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday, February 26th at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Visiting hours are Friday, February 25th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
