Obituary

Elena (Battistella) DiFilippo of Abruzzo, Italy formerly of Malden, passed away on April 2, 2021. She was 90 years old.

Elena was the wife of the late Guido DiFilippo. She was the loving mother of Anna Maria Assi and her husband Aldo of Italy, Gloria Diserio and her husband Joseph of Revere, Tommaso DiFilippo and his wife Florence of Yarmouth, MA, and Enzo DiFilippo of Danvers. Elena was the cherished grandmother of Dante Diserio and his wife Christine of Reading, Alyssa Difilippo of Tewksbury, Andre DiFilippo of East Boston, and great grandmother of Antonio and Dante Diserio.

A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Elena's life will be held in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden on Wednesday November 10th at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
