Obituary

Edward G. Giardino, of Malden, passed away at home with his family by his side on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. He was 89 years old.
Edward was born in Boston to the late Angelo and Angelina (Elia) Giardino. As a young man Edward joined the US Marine Corps where he served his country proudly during the Korean War. He worked for many years as a truck driver, driving cement trucks throughout greater Boston.
Edward is survived by his beloved wife of over 50 years, Karen C. (Falk) Giardino, his son Dean Giardino , his daughter Marika Lomba and her husband Chris. He was the loving grandfather of Victor and Eric Lomba. Also survived by his brother Robert Giardino and his late wife Lorraine, his late brother Frederick Giardino and his surviving wife Nancy and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the AJ Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main St., Malden on Saturday June 8th from 11-1PM . Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment private.
