Obituary

Edith A. (Gennetti) Falcone passed away on September 27, 2012. She was 89 years old.

Edith was a lifelong resident of Malden. She was a seamstress for many years and was the prefect of the Saint Peter's Parish Ladies Sodality and member of the Saint Rocco Society.

Edith was the devoted wife of the late Joseph C. Falcone Sr. She was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Mary Gennetti. Edith was the beloved mother of Richard "Rick" Falcone and his wife Marcia of Saugus, Joseph Falcone Jr. "Chuck" and his wife Joan of Florida, and Carol Falcone of Gloucester. She was the dear sister of Teresa Smith, Nancy Cagno Sablone, Salvatore "Butch" Gennetti and the late Daniel Gennette, Jean Sacco, Edmund Gennetti, Anna Puleo, Henry Gennetti and Mary Giarratana. Edith was the cherished grandmother of Shelby Androski, Ron Murray and Denene Fenton. She was the great-grandmother of Joseph and Michael Androski, Domenic Oreto, Kailee Fenton, Devin and Nina Murray, her special nephew Sal Gennetti III, and dear friend Kathy of Gloucester. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Monday, October 1st at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main Street, Malden at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Sunday, September 30th from 3-7 p.m. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
