Obituary

Earl Henry Smedberg Sr. passed away on November 28, 2007. He was 90 years old.

Born in Boston, Earl was a longtime resident of Malden. His love for trains led him to a 35-year career with the Boston and Maine Railroad. He also had a deep love for his family.

Earl was predeceased by his wife of 70 years, the late Grace (Pizzimenti) Smedberg. He was the loving father of Joyce A. Maggio and her late husband Louis of Lowell, Theodore "Ted" Smedberg and his wife Diane of Billerica and the late Earl Henry Smedberg Jr. Earl was the cherished grandfather of Christopher, Louis, Brian and Earl Maggio, Grace Clarke, Cheryl Gonsalves, Jeanne Imbimbo and Kristen and Teddy Smedberg and also 8 great-grandchildren.

The Funeral was held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Friday, November 30th followed by Interment in Forest Dale Cemetery.
