Obituary

Dominic M. "Mike" Tamagna passed away peacefully at home on August 3, 2017. He was 82 years old.

Mike was a longtime resident of Malden and graduate of Malden High School, class of 1953, and owned and operated Tamagna Plumbing and Heating for over 20 years. He was a former coach for Malden Youth Hockey and Malden Little League, and past member of the Italian American Citizens Club of Malden. Mike was a longtime teacher and Vice Principal at Northeast Regional Vocational High School in Wakefield.

Mike was the beloved husband of Elaine M. (Cordwell) Tamagna. He was the former husband of Carole Tamagna. Mike was the loving father of Scott Tamagna, Laurie MacDonald and her husband Mark, Lisa Tamagna, Carolyn Tremblay, Christine Tamagna, and the late Michael Tamagna. He was the brother of the late Anthony, Victor, and John Tamagna, Josephine Kniffen, and Marianne and Eleanor Fitzpatrick.
Mike was the cherished grandfather of Rael LaRose, Lanae Caruso and her husband Stephen, Peter Tamagna and his wife Clarisse, Heather MacDonald, Sophia and Olivia Tamagna and Dominic Tremblay. He was the great grandfather of Sean Lynch III and Isaac. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Tuesday August 8th at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8pm. Interment will be private.
