Obituary

Denis P. White Sr. passed away on October 23, 2007 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose. He was 65 years old.

A longtime resident of Malden, Denis was born and attended schools in Augusta, Maine. He worked as a Senior Technician for Gillette Co. and retired after 39 years. Denis also served in the National Guard during the Vietnam Era.

Denis was the beloved father of Frances Karnuth and her husband Franz of Illinois, Denis White Jr. of Arizona, Daniel White of Florida and Dean White of Malden. He was the dear brother of Donald White and his wife Clarice "Kitty" White and the late David White. Denis was the cherished grandfather of David, Felicia, Joshua, Timothy, Janelle, Saige, Lexi, Eric, Sean, Daniel, Josiah and Elisha and the great-grandfather of Neveah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Sunday, October 28th from 3-7 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Additional visitation will be held from the Plummers Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant Street, Augusta, Maine on Tuesday, October 30th from 8:30-10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Augustines Church, Northern Avenue, Augusta, Maine at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Holy Family Cemetery, Augusta, Maine.
