Obituary

Delores (Massaro) Cataldo passed away on January 7, 2008 surrounded by her loving family.  She was 72 years old.

Born in Malden, Delores grew up in the Edgeworth neighborhood of the city and was a longtime resident of Medford.  She was the daughter of the late Alfonso Massaro and Jennie Cabral and the step-daughter of Joseph Cabral of Malden. She was married to the late John J. Cataldo, her husband of 50 years.

Delores was the beloved mother of Doreen Meador and her husband Craig of Wakefield and Denise Brogna and her husband Anthony of Medford.  She was the dear sister of Grace Ollis and the late Frank "Goo Goo" Massaro and the cherished grandmother of Kendra Meador and Dominique and Toni Brogna.  She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

The Funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Friday, January 11th at 8:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 9:00 am.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.  Visiting hours are on Thursday, January 10th from 4-8 pm.  Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Hill Mausoleum, Malden.
