Obituary

Dean R. Melanson passed away on February 23, 2014. He was 59 years old.

Dean was the husband of Patricia (Quinn) Melanson. He was the loving son of Joan Melanson of Yarmouth and the late Leo Melanson. Dean was the beloved father of Danielle Walsh and her husband Robert of Fitchburg, Michael Melanson and his fiancé Jesica Cote of Pocasset, and Kyle Melanson of Framingham. He was the dear brother of Steve Melanson of Malden, Larry Melanson of Winthrop, and Joyce Hamilton of Yarmouth. Dean was the cherished grandfather of Tyler and Emily Walsh and Dominic and Mya Melanson.

A service will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday March 1st at 12:00pm. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:30a.m.-12:00p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private.
