Obituary

Daniel J. "Sully" Sullivan passed away in Florida on July 30, 2021, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 82 years old.

Daniel was born and raised in Malden, MA, then lived in Billerica and later relocated to Fort Lauderdale, FL. He was a United States Navy Veteran and worked as a Crew Chief for American Air Lines Cargo for 44 years before retiring in 2003.

Daniel was the beloved husband of the late Mary-Jane (Lane) Sullivan. He leaves behind his loving son Derek Sullivan and his wife Angela Munoz and his loving daughter Danielle Sullivan. Daniel was the brother of Claire Peterson, Neil Sullivan, and the late Elaine McMullin. He was the cherished papa of Noah Sullivan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Friday August 6th at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Joseph Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-7pm.

Interment will be in Ocean View Cemetery in Wells, ME with his beloved wife, Mary-Jane where the family spent their summer vacations and have fond memories.
