Obituary

Christine M. Drinkwater passed away unexpectedly on July 13, 2016. She was 52 years old.

Christine was a longtime resident of Malden. She worked for many years at Malden City Hall in both the Treasurer's office and the City Controller's office. Christine loved devoting a lot of her time to her nieces and nephews who were a big part of her life.

Christine was the beloved daughter of Ralph and Martha (Forti) Drinkwater of Malden. She was the loving sister of Ralph Drinkwater and his wife Denise of Wakefield and Catherine Oliveira and her husband Daniel of North Reading. Christine was the devoted aunt of Gina Drinkwater and Daniel, Dylan, and Deanna Oliveira. She is also survived by many loving Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Monday July 18th at 9:00a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Joseph's Church 770 Salem Street, Malden at 10:00a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday July 17th from 2-6p.m. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

In lieu of flowers contributions in Christine's memory may be made to a Charity of One's Choice.
