Obituary

Charles F. Ro Sr., of Saugus passed away on December 1, 2020. He was 88 years old.

Charles was a United States Marine Veteran during the Korean Conflict. He was the founder of Charles Ro Supply Company in Malden since 1972 and the manufacturer of USA Trains. Charles was the number one train dealer in America and the worlds largest Lionel train dealer.

Charles was the beloved husband of 64 years to Ruth L. (Tricca) Ro. He was the loving father of Charles F. Ro Jr. and his wife Jacqueline A. of Saugus. Charles was the cherished grandfather of Katie A. McBride and Kristin A. Ro. He was the great grandfather of Riley D. McBride and Quinn J. McBride.

A funeral service will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday December 5th at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8pm. Please wear a face covering when entering the funeral home. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden.
