Obituary

Catherine "Kay" Dimeco passed away on January 16, 2022. She was 86 years old.

Born in Everett, Kay grew up in Malden. She graduated from Malden High School and remained a life-long resident of the city. Kay enjoyed her wonderful family and spending summers in Big Island Pond in Derry, NH.

Kay was the devoted wife of the late Joseph Dimeco. She was the beloved mother of Joseph Dimeco and his wife Sandra of Dracut, Robert Dimeco and his wife Annette of Dracut, Donna Scamporino and her husband Robert of Methuen, Debbie Nichols and her husband Paul of Sandown, NH and Cathy Sirois and her husband Mike of Chester, NH. Kay was the cherished grandmother of Joe, Andy, Lisa Marie, Christina, Michelle, Jennifer, Chris, Keith, Michael and Melissa and great-grandmother to Isla, Leonardo, Luke, Nicholas, Cole, Bryson and Adrian.

A funeral service will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday, January 22th at 11:00 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visitation will be held from 9-11 am on Saturday morning prior to the service. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
