Obituary

Carolyn A. (Doherty) Brown passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025, after a short battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was 62 years old.

Carolyn was a lifelong resident of Charlestown and attended Charlestown High School. She went on to attend school for a higher education and then worked as a personal care assistant.

Carolyn loved her family and friends. She loved going to the casino as well as playing bingo. Carolyn also enjoyed trips to Hampton Beach and dancing the night away. She had a love for animals, especially her cats, Chadwick, Lilly, Bella and also her sisters dog Reba.

Carolyn was the wife of the late William Brown. She was the loving mother of Anna Brown and Jennifer Lewey. Carolyn was the dear sister of Bonnie Terrio and her husband Jack of Salem, NH, Richard Brooks of Quincy, MA, John Doherty of Chelmsford, MA and Kerry Conway and her wife Nan of Tiverton, RI. She was the cherished grandmother of Grayson Romero, who meant the whole world to her. Carolyn was the aunt of Kimberly Boyce, Jack Terrio, Matthew Terrio, Makayla Adams and Brooke Adams, as well as many great nieces and great nephews.

Private services will be held followed by interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
