Obituary

Carole A. (Luke) O'Neil of Allenstown, NH formerly of Wakefield, passed away on December 20, 2021, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 82 years old.

Carole was a former nursing student at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford and worked as a nurse's aide at Malden Hospital for 11 years. Most recently she worked as an aerobics instructor at the YMCA in Nashua, NH.

Carole was the wife of the late James J. O'Neil. She was the loving mother of Cheryl Weldy and her husband Fred of Wakefield, Doreen Hurley and her husband Joe of Allenstown, NH, Jim O'Neil and his wife Lisa of Nashua, NH, Cindy Surette and her husband Tom of Merrimack, NH and Scott O'Neil and his wife Tina of Nashua, NH. Carole was the dear sister of Roberta Walker of SC and her late husband James, Ernie Luke and his wife Joan of NH, Kenny Luke of Lawrence and the late Robert Luke and his late wife Joanne. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Tuesday December 28th at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 3-7pm. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

In lieu of flowers donations in Carole's memory may be made to a Charity of One's Choice.
