Obituary

Carmelina (Volpe) DiSerio, a longtime resident of Malden, passed away on December 9, 2018. She was 91 years old.

Carmelina was the beloved wife of the late Dante J. DiSerio. She was the loving mother of Joseph E. DiSerio and his wife Gloria of Revere, Dante J. DiSerio of Malden, and Robert J. DiSerio of Malden. Carmelina was the dear sister of Donatina Colangeli-Volpe, Licio Volpe, and Dino Volpe and his wife Carmelina all of Alanno, Italy. She was the cherished grandmother of Dante J. DiSerio and his wife Christine, Adriana DiSerio, Robert DiSerio, and Michael DiSerio, and great grandmother of Antonio, Dante, and Camilla DiSerio. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Thursday December 13th at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3-7pm. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
