Obituary

Camilla D. (Wilkins) Meade passed away on July 11, 2010. She was 84 years old.

Born in Boston, Camilla grew up in Charlestown and was a longtime resident of Malden. She was married to the late William L. Meade for 20 years and had worked as an accountant for Mass General Hospital.

Camilla was the beloved mother of Camilla Casey and her husband James of South Yarmouth, Caren Pierni and her husband Michael of Derry, NH and David Meade and his wife Lori of Dracut. She was the dear sister of Joseph Wilkins, Helene Hall and Richard Wilkins and is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Camilla was the cherished grandmother of Shelagh, Michael, David and Brian and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Thursday, July 15th from 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
