Obituary

Anthony Grungo passed away on September 12, 2010. He was 83 years old.

Born in Malden, Anthony was a lifelong resident of the city. He loved hunting, going to yard sales and woodworking.

Anthony was the husband of the late Lorraine (DeCarney) Grungo. He was the beloved father of Veronica Casey of Malden, Rosemarie Stella of Stoneham, Anthony Grungo Jr. of Malden and Barbara Grungo of Malden. Anthony was the cherished grandfather of 9 grandchildren and great-grandfather of 2 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held from the A.J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Wednesday, September 15th at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Tuesday, September 14th from 4-8 p.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
