Obituary

Anthony DiBella passed away on April 16, 2010. He was 86 years old.

Born in Palermo, Sicily, Anthony came to America in 1937. He grew up in Medford and graduated from Medford High School. He moved to Somerville where he lived for 40 years and was retired from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts where he had worked for many years.

Anthony was the devoted husband of Dina (Parello) DiBella, his loving wife of 45 years. He was the beloved father of Ann Marie DiBella and her partner John Garrity of Somerville and Guy DiBella and his wife Kristen of Malden. Anthony was the dear brother of Rose Santoro of Florida and the late Salvatore and Alfred DiBella. He was the cherished grandfather of Nicholas and Olivia DiBella and Adam and Sean Garrity. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Tuesday, April 20th at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Benedict Church, 21 Hathorn Street, Somerville at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Monday, April 19th from 4-8 p.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
