Obituary

Alyce L. (Gobbeo) Bettis, of Malden, passed away on February 24, 2021. She was 95 years old.

Alyce was born in the Edgeworth section of Malden on May 31, 1925 to Concetta and Giuseppe Gobbeo on Oakland Street. Edgeworth and Malden were always in her heart. She was married at Saint Peter's Church on June 10, 1951 and remained a parishioner until its closing. The Saint Rocco Celebration was a highlight of her summer, staffing the sausage stand and marching with her mother's candle in the procession. Alyce was also a retired office manager for Ace-Lon Corporation of Malden.

Alyce was the wife of the late Larry W. Bettis. She was the beloved mother of Connie Bettis of Springfield.

A funeral service will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Monday March 1st at 11:00am. Visitation will be held from 9:30am-11:00am prior to the service. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
