Obituary

Alvin L. Fitzpatrick Jr., a lifelong resident of Malden, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2022, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 72 years old.

Alvin worked for Community Suffolk Inc. as a traffic manager for 50 years and was an avid bowler for many years.

Alvin was the beloved husband of 47 years to Teresa A. (Connolly) Fitzpatrick. He was the loving father of Renee Leonforte and her husband David of Middleton and Scott Fitzpatrick and his significant other Shavaun Callahan of Malden. Alvin was the cherished grandfather of Mya, Jenna, Lily, Hailey and Hannah Leonforte, Connor Fitzpatrick and Eric Callahan. He was the dear brother in-law of Maureen Cappellucci and her husband Dan, Cheryl Moreschi and her husband John and Mary Kelly and her husband Bill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral service will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Wednesday May 18th at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-7pm. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
