Obituary

Alice M. "Cookie" Kelly passed away on January 6, 2012. She was 69 years old.

Born in Cambridge, Alice was a resident of Peabody for 10 years and previously a resident of Malden for over 30 years. She worked at the Golden Buddha Chinese Restaurant and Robinsons News Agency both in Malden for many years.

Alice was the devoted wife of 48 years to Robert Kelly. She was the loving daughter of the late Henry and Mary Campbell. Alice was the beloved mother of Robert C. Kelly of Wakefield, David M. Kelly of Haverhill and Steven P. Kelly of Wakefield. She was the dear sister of Elizabeth Mahan and Bernice Hannigan. Alice was the cherished grandmother of Meagan, Brianna, Robert, Elizabeth, David II and Brittany Kelly. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Tuesday, January 10th at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Monday, January 9th from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be in Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
